KasiaCare is named in honor of Kasia, pronounced KAH-shah, a beloved mom who lived with a disability and was cared for by her family for many years. She had a radiant smile, a love for flowers and food. She had an unwavering spirit and was very close with her daughters and grandchildren.
Her daughter Lilia was her primary caregiver for over thirty years. There was no shared care plan. No app traveled with Kasia wherever she went, whether she was at the hospital, the doctor's office, or visiting family. Every caregiver shift change meant starting over.
Lilia's dream was simple. She wanted this: "No caregiver should ever walk through the door unprepared, and no person receiving care should ever feel unknown." KasiaCare was built to make that dream a reality, taking shape one careful step at a time, with every line of code written in memory of her mama, Kasia.
Kasia passed away on February 7, 2023. KasiaCare is Lilia's way of making sure families, caregivers, and individuals have the simplest way of creating a basic care plan.
A Special Dedication
To our sweet Shieka, our German Shepherd. Helping Lilia with caregiving.
Our sweet Shieka, a German Shepherd, was part of our family and caregiving. She was Lilia's shadow, with Mom and Lilia every day. When an aide came over to help with Mom's care, Shieka would be right there, in Mom's room or outside the door. She loved Mom. Shieka passed away on May 7, 2025. She and Mom are missed so very much.

Lilia is a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in technology and caregiving. Most importantly, she was Kasia's daughter and primary caregiver for over thirty years. KasiaCare is built from that experience: not from a boardroom, but from a bedroom, a hospital waiting room, and thirty years of love in action.
